Yesterday was Oktoberfest and as you can imagine, today was pretty miserable. We slept until noon and woke up feeling pretty bad. After the fact, we started thinking that it probably wasn't the best idea to go to a drinking festival while we were on vacation and we lost almost two days just recovering. We closed all the windows and the blinds and tried to keep the noise levels down. There was a lot of activity outside but the inside of the RV was pretty quite. We really only ate drank and slept. The RV needed gas and none of us felt good enough to go get some. Turns out the fuel gauge broke so there was no way for us to know how much gas we have. I owe my 8th grade math teacher an apology, I said there was never going to be a time when we would need to use math in the world. Now we need to calculate how much we put in and how much we have used so we don't run out again. The generator was starting to get low so if we didn't do something soon we would lose power. We drew straws again and Nico lost. He had to take a few pills, drink some water and go out to find a gas station. If we were thinking we would have realized 1). We could have just googled it and 2). There was a spare tank full of gas in the storage compartment underneath. We could have used that to drive the RV to a gas station. Too bad there is no German AAA. I think we are going to drive to the mountains and go skiing soon. Hopefully we are able to recover well enough for that. The headache is starting to subside so I am going to get some sleep now. Tomorrow, the real fun begins.
